Smart Toilets
How to choose a smart toilet
A smart toilet combines the toilet and bidet in one unit, with comfort and hygiene features controlled by a knob or remote. Before you buy, check the space you have and your existing plumbing.
- Measure the distance from the wall to the waste outlet and the space either side.
- Check there is a fused electrical spur nearby — smart toilets need power.
- Decide which features matter most: heated seat, warm-air drying, auto lid, foot-sensing flush.
- Look for a power-outage flush so the toilet still works in a power cut.
- Use a qualified plumber and electrician for installation.
